FROSTY “CELSIUS DROP” FINAL SHOW (OR SO WE THOUGHT) (04.31.01) In 2001 there was a moment of darkness that floated over our dream. dublab was flat broke and without hope. This was soon after the internet bubble burst and although we operated outside this inflated world, the splash soaked us with a sting. Besides the grim economic outlook we had worked ourselves to a frayed state and thought it best to hang up our hats. So, on April 31, 2001, we had our final day of broadcasting on dublab.com. Here is my show from that day. It’s a bittersweet episode of musical expression. Luckily, as you know, we pumped our confidence up in the face of challenge and dublab has continued for almost another decade after this fateful “final broadcast day.” We are so thankful for everyone who has supported dublab over the years with open ears and generous Proton Grant donations.
